About. . . Brett Ellis

Brett attended Illinois State University from 1983-88 where he studied corporate finance, world markets, law, advanced financial theory, short-term capital management, economics, accounting and real estate. In 1988 Brett earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and also received a minor in Business Administration.

Brett began selling real estate in 1988 when he joined his mother Sande Ellis to form The Ellis Team. The Ellis Team consistently closes over 400 properties each year and is the Top Residential Real Estate Sales Team in Lee County, Florida.  They are also consistently in the Top 100 agents in the country and the Top 100 agents out of 118453 agents in 63 countries worldwide.  

Brett primarily lists and negotiates contracts, as well as oversees the team’s technology functions including Internet marketing and website creation and innovation. The Ellis Team has nine licensed agents and three full-time assistants working together.

Brett is an accomplished author publishing a monthly Series on Real Estate Topics.  He is also a well known national speaker focusing on Marketing Real Estate with Today's Technology. Brett has hosted a Television Show - Using the Internet to Market Real Estate. Brett is a widely listened to Radio Show Host featured on the weekly radio program “The Future of Real Estate” centering on local and national real estate trends and topics and fields question on a listener call-in.
